Appointment Fees
We are a privately billing practice. Unlike many optometry practices that generate most of their income from glasses sales, our primary focus is on your eye health.
Payment for consultations is required in full at the time of your appointment. Medicare card holders will receive a rebate directly from Medicare. The rebate amount depends on when you last had an eye examination and your reason for the visit, and you can generally expect a rebate between $33.15 and $66.15 for a comprehensive eye examination.
This is not a complete fee schedule, but indicative fees for other consultation types are available on request.
As at December 2025. Fees and Medicare rebate amounts are expected to change in July 2026.
